On average 10 -15 full faces per hour
Do I need to provide anything?
We bring our own table and chair etc. Although if travelling on public transport we may request a table.
Will you paint outdoors?
I will only work outside if there is a strong marquee or gazebo with sides to protect form rain, sun and wind. I prefer to work inside if possible.
What products do you use and are they safe for sensitive skin?
All paints that I use are FDA compliant. The face painting products I use have all been thoroughly tested and the paints are skin safe. However some children are sensitive to many things. If in doubt I am always willing to do a tester on their arm first.
How do I remove the face paint?
The best way to remove the paints is with warm water, soap and a flannel.
Can my child have their face painted if they have a rash or a cold?
If your child has a runny nose or any type of skin complaint, for example, a rash, eczema, cold sore, etc. It is not advisable to paint their face however it may be possible to paint their leg, arm or hand instead.
How old does my child have to be to have their face painted?
I do not advise a full face painting on any child under 3 years old. However, at my discretion I can paint a small design on their arm instead, as long they are at least 2 years old. All children must be accompanied by a grown up. And of course I will paint anyone from 2 to 102.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes I hold PLI and am a member of (No 389) of FACE, the International Face Painting Association
Do I need a face painter with a CRB / DBS check?
Professional Face Painters are not required to have Police checks from the Disclosure and Barring Service (Formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau). They advise that this is because face painters should not paint unaccompanied children.
